life so foul and grinding that I barely live. and yet
I endure for sake of love. a light, beautiful and singular,
illumines my night and shows me the path to the edge
of the universe, where waits hope and joy, twin beasts
shackled by their duty, to draw the chariot of love
across the skies of radiant peace and lover's dream.
